RUSSIAN LANGUAGE COURSES

For beginners in Russian or those who seek to master their Russian language skills Pushkin Institute offers various Russian language courses:
  • group classes;
  • tutorials.
Classes in the Russian language courses are intensive.
Within a short time you will be able to learn how to speak, read and write Russian.
The minimum course duration: 1 month.
Upon the successful completion of the courses, students are awarded a Certificate that as contains the period and amount of training.

Description of courses

Pushkin Institute calls for enrollment for the following courses in 2023-2024 academic year:
Practical course of Russian as a foreign language (group classes)

An intensive course of speech practice for students who would like to improve their level of Russian language proficiency in various types of speech activities (speaking, reading, listening, writing).

Target audience: foreigners with Russian language proficiency level from A0 to B2+.
Mode of study: full-time // using e-learning and distance learning technologies.
Duration: from 1 to 10 months.
Intensity: 144 academic hours per month (96 hours – in-class training, 48 hours – self-study work). 1 academic hour = 45 minutes.

Training start dates:

  • September 01, 2023 (all levels)
  • October 02, 2023 (A1 and above)
  • November 01, 2023 (A1 and above)
  • February 01, 2024 (all levels)
  • March 01, 2024 (A1 and above)
  • April 01, 2024 (A1 and above)

Tuition fee: 28 000 rubles / month.

Classes take place 4 times a week from 9.00 to 14.30 with a lunch break.

Practical course of Russian as a foreign language (tutorials)
Target audience: foreigners with Russian language proficiency level from A0 to B2+.
Mode of study: full-time // using e-learning and distance learning technologies.
Duration: from 1 to 10 months.
Intensity: from 8 academic hours per month.
1 academic hour = 45 minutes.
Tuition fee: 1,800 rubles / 1 academic hour.

Entrance assessment is compulsory to check the applicant’s level of Russian language proficiency according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) (from A1 to C1).

Upon successful completion students are awarded a Certificate.

Enrollment for training

To enroll in full-time education, you should:

For visa support, you need not later than 2 months before the start of your studies:

  1. Send by email vpkorotkov@pushkin.institute pages of your passport with a photo, personal data, the date of issue of the passport, its validity period (including renewal).
  2. Fill out the form

The staff of the Institute will respond to you by e-mail within 10 days after receiving the questionnaire. The Institute draws up and sends you an official invitation.  If there is no response, send a letter indicating the name, surname, citizenship and date of filling out the questionnaire to the address gnkupsova@pushkin.institute.

To enroll in distance learning, you must:

Send a completed application form and scanned copies of your passport pages with photo, personal data, passport issue date and expiration date in JPEG format (*.jpg, *.jpeg) to the Institute not later than 2 weeks before the start of training. The passport must be valid during the distance learning period. The Institute staff will respond to you by email within 10 days after receiving the questionnaire.
